So, I haven't done a catch-up-with-canon post in some time, partly because Carol was "dead" for a while and partly because canon is annoying. Marvel's Dark Reign is nearing closure ("closure", this IS comics) and while I don't know where Carol will end up, I have my theories and I'd like to catch-up BEFORE since, probably, I'll ignore a lot of it. Carol stares at the control stick in her hand. It will take about twenty minutes to run the program. Fifteen to implement the plan and five to deflect attention. She has to make it look good. A reasonable attempt, a reasonable failure. And she has to escape. A tall order, all told, but she's never been one to back down from a challenge.
